Hotel Raymondi I absolutely recommend to anyone interested in art and design.
The place is full of character - one of the few hotels in Huaraz that have withstood the earthquake - and the rooms are painted beautifully by the daughter of the owner who is a doctor (and half artist) in Lima.
The hotel is on Avenue Raimondi one block east from the central Avenue Luzuriaga.

The styleful cafetaria Raymondi next door is opened by Senora Juanita already at 6:00 AM. Their special Swiss cheese is delicious with omelette.
